ZOMBIELANDThere is soon to be another contender that will try to claim the crown that Shaun of the Dead wears as the King of Zombie Comedies.  Moreover, when it comes to horror/comedy, there is none better, zombie or otherwise.

Zombieland will be released on October 9th, 2009 A.D.  It stars Woody Harrelson and…do I need to name anyone else, because if ‘zombie’ and ‘Woody Harrelson’ don’t seal the deal for the world to see this, what hope is there?  But it also stars Jesse Eisenberg (Cursed) and some other people.  Here’s what it’s about:

A cowardly shut-in named Columbus (Eisenberg) is forced to join up with a seasoned zombie slayer named Tallahassee (Harrelson) in order to survive. As Tallahassee sets out on a mission to find the last Twinkie on Earth, the two men meet up with Wichita and Little Rock, two young girls who have resorted to some rather unorthodox methods to survive amidst the chaos. Reluctant partners in the battle against the undead, all four soon begin to wonder if they might not be better off on their own.

It sounds…interesting.  This will probably be either really good or really, really, bad.  If it falls in the middle, then damn it all, why did they make it?
