‘Book’ Gets Picked Up

It seems that Clive Barker’s Book of Blood will not be going straight to cable or DVD.
Screen Daily reports that Book of Blood is just one of four films scooped up by Lightning. Two are non-genre, but the other is a “horror spoof” (lord, spare us!) entitled Diagnosis Death, about which we could find very little info other than that it was produced by Jason Stutter and involves two people undergoing a radical treatment for cancer that causes hallucinations. Hilarious, right?
Lightning Media plans a late ’09 or early 2010 release for Blood.
