I have posted a new story over there under the short fiction, a small little narrative called ‘Loss Creek’. It’s sort of a quasi experiment for me.
One of my favorite books is The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides. Great book; if you haven’t read it, I strongly urge you to do so. Anyway, it’s my attempt to do something similiar in narrative style as Suicides; my little ‘Loss Creek’ is nowhere near as good, and it doesn’t really have a “collective” narrator, but as a sketch I think it may be passable. I wasn’t going to post it here, but I haven’t put up a short in quite a while and KatieBella is on me about these things. But I digress….
There’s a lot more to this story, I think, more I want to do with it at some point, and change some things around. But until I get to that point where I feel I can handle it with some modicum of success, I have plenty of other things brewing.
Hope you enjoy it.

I love it!
I especially love this line:
“And the truth, though it may set you free, can haunt you more than a fevered, adolescent, dream. More than any regret.”
Now I am going to go spend some quality time with my pack.
